Things I learnt this weekend

  1. 1..Don’t use 100 speed film indoors, no matter how good your flash is, even if it’s your last reel. Especially at something fast moving like a ceilidh!
  2. 2..Never point your Holga skywards when it is haling and raining, and generally blowing a gale. They aren’t sealed, the don’t like being wet.
  3. 3..If you do point your holga at the sky, remember to wipe the lense afterwards, otherwise you get indoor photos looking slightly wet.
  4. 4..Check photos when using an auto feed to scan the photos, otherwise it won’t know a lot of the time where the end of the frame is, and you will get random crossovers..grr.

Here’s some calamitous photos. There will be more once they have been re-scanned in!
