Ilford Price Rises from September

Looks like b&w film and chems is about to get more expensive!

From Silverprint, one of Britains largest film shops:

Harman Technology are raising prices on Ilford branded products at the end of August 09;

Films

  • FP4 & HP5 35mm film +12%
  • FP4 & HP5 120 & sheet film + 20%
  • Pan F & XP2 35mm, Delta 35mm +15%
  • Pan F, XP2 & Delta 120 roll films + 25%
  • Delta 100 sheet film + 20%
  • Ortho sheet film + 15%

RC Paper

  • 10 sheet packs + 10%
  • 25 sheet packs + 5%
  • 50 sheet boxes + 10%
  • 100 sheet boxes +15%

FB Paper

  • 10 sheet packs +13%
  • 25 sheet packs +12%
  • 50 sheet boxes + 11%
  • 100 sheet boxes +10%

All chemistry + 10%

There will be no change to Harman inkjet prices.

Price rises may hit your local supplier any time soon once they have ran out of their current stock.  Start stocking up now before the new prices come into affect.

    Once again those wanting to use old media are being penalised, why don’t they allow choice? I’ll take it that they’ll keep increasing the price until we stop buying and they get put out of business then huh…..

    Well its natural when everyone is shifting to digital, people who need film will have to pay more. Unfortunate but true.
