2 New Holga Lenses Released!

Hot off the press news!

Holga have been busy beavering away and have just released two new lenses for your Holga!

The two tele-converter lenses, models HT-25 (tele lens) and HW-05(wide lens) fit onto you holga and either lengthen(HT-25) or shorten (HW-05) the focal length, therefore creating a tele or wide lens.

Another new release is a fisheye viewfinder that sits on top of your holga enabling you to see the subject ‘fisheyed’ before taking the photo. This viewfinder is a companion piece to the holga fisheye lens.

    do they repalce the normal lens or add to it? i don’t understand much about focal length.

    These types of lenses used to be fairly common for fixed lens rangefinders. They are an accessory lens that works in conjuction with the existing lens. They normally change the F-stop value which requires some basic math to compensate for that.

    i wonder if this is the start of the holga company taking a more hands on approach to their marketing. maybe then people will start to realize that LSI doesn’t make Holgas.

    Very cool!! Could an official Holga close-up lens be very far off? I hope not! I get good results with my home close-up mod but I’d like to see what an “official” one might do!

    Don’t laugh, I’m absolutely clueless; is it possible to get Holga effects in a DSLR camera? Like do you get lenses that create a Holga effect or are Holga cameras completely different??
