Another new Holga..this time the Holga 135BC TLR

Yep, Holga are really hitting the factory hard this year with another new Holga released.  Well, when we say new, it is a new design but just combines two functions from their other camera ranges.  They have Frankensteined together a Holga 135BC (35mm Holga camera with fake vignette) with the viewfinder ‘technology’ from the Holga 120 TLR range of cameras.

Retailing for around $40 from all good eBay stockists (it’s being released in Asia first for now), there’s nothing much else to say about the 135BC TLR, it’s the standard 135BC, but with the TLR viewfinder!!  There is one thing that is stumping us though, there’s a massive great oval shaped hole on top of the camera, we are waiting to find out what that is from Holga!Edit-Holga tells us that it is just the film counter window from a strange angle!!

Here’s some more pics:

Gotta say I do like the look of this for some reason – with the Flash, it’d be great for parties.

I missed this one, Pretty crazy, I really wish they would make a TLR with a focusing screen rather then just a waist level viewfinder.

Fun in the Sun-Printing

Some time late last year (OK, Christmas), I got a present called “Sun-Print Paper”. This stuff is basically sold as a “toy” to parents who probably want their kids to get off their console, get out the house, and take in some Sunshine or else.

How to make Cog-Pano’s on your Holga

First things first. The image above was shot on my Holga, and I only manipulated digitally by way of turning it black & white and adding my copyright symbol. Otherwise, this is shown exactly as it was shot, with the image stretching its way across the film plain in a nice wide panoramic and covering [...]
